Saucony Triumph Iso 3 and Freedom iso vs other running shoes

Messaggio da stevew »

Hi,
My second post and thought I start a new forum. I am from Australia so all my posts will be in English. Love all the forums here and the quality of discussion on various shoes. My main running and walking shoes are the Saucony Triumph iso 3 and Saucony freedom Iso.

My comparison with Saucony triumph iso 3 with other shoes (Adidas, Nike, Brooks)

When I purchased a Saucony triumph iso 3 I compared it to the Adidas supernova glide and the ST version too and I felt the supernova was to bulky in the heel and more a slow running shoe but it was very cushioned. I found it tended it quickly drain your energy for faster runs.

The Nike Vomero 12 was not quite as responsive and stable as iso 3), i did a short run comparing both and I was about 15 -20 seconds quicker with the Saucony triumph iso 3. The Brooks Glycrein 14 I found quite hot lacked ventilation and slow. The Saucony triumph iso 3 I found as a good blend of comfort, ventilation, response and stability. I love its cushioning and dampening from shock too, as I have lower back issues. Its perhaps not the softest shoe to walk around in though - like the adidas ultraboost.

Saucony Freedom iso vs Adidas Energy Boost (4 - 2017)
I also recently compared the Saucony freedom iso with the New Adidas energy boost (4) 2017. The energy boost midfoot cage was uncomfortable, it seemed a very hot shoe too run in too. Its also seemed a bit inflexible and heavy - nice cushioning though, probably better running shoe overall than the supernova but the plastic cage and the lack of ventilation was worse on the energy boost. The Saucony freedom felt a more flexible, more ventilated and a smoother, lighter and more comfortable faster shoe to run in. The only negative I found with the saucony freedom it isnt quite as stable as some other shoes. If you pronate a bit it may not be the best shoe. It is such a comfortable shoe to run and walk in - very versatile.

I also have a Asics dynaflyte shoe for the treadmill and as a back up shoe too. I look forward to trying the new Saucony triumph iso 4 when it comes out. Looking forward to interacting on these forums.

Have a great day everyone , from the land downunder - Australia

Cheers

Steve

Ciao,

Saucony Freedom iso vs Adidas Energy Boost (4 - 2017)

Saluti
