ma la tecnologia TrueUp è nuova, fa riferimento ai dispositivi nuovi tipo le band. Sicuri che Il 920 sia TrueUp?
Io ho i miei dubbi.

Su garminblog leggo che va impostato un dispositivo preferito...ma non é chiaro come faccia...e dice di sincronizzare di tanto in tanto il secodario

No con la tecnologia TrueUp è Connect che provvede a fare il merge dei dati.

Il 920 non c'è.
Ho visto che i ciclisti che utilizzano i due strumenti decidono quale attività caricare e quale eliminare.

Anche i miei colleghi che hanno edge per la bici e forerunner per correre, caricano uno o l'altro.

The general trend you see there is basically devices released in the last 12 months (+ the Fenix3). Devices such as the FR15, FR25, FR920XT, Epix, and Vivomove/Vivofit1/Vivofit2 are all missing. My understanding is that on that these non-supported devices it’ll properly upload steps to supported devices, but just not display the ‘True Up’ numbers on the non-supported device. But I haven’t tried it in that configuration. Said differently, if you use a Vivosmart HR during the day, but run with the FR920XT, that should actually work in terms of seeing your run-step data on the Vivosmart, but you won’t see it on the FR920XT. In theory anyway.

Alla fine anche questo lo capisco poco...non credo che dipenda dal hw/sw dispositivo. Il merge lo fa il Connect. Anche se il 920xt é più che completo, forse prima o poi lo aggiungono il TrueUp con una fix lato connect.

ma su quello hai sicuramente ragione, ma quante limitazioni sono solo lato marketing piuttosto che lato tecnico?

Si chiaro...ma parliamo cmq si top di gamma. Alla fine manca solo che ci mandano un bug per cambiarlo quando viene fuori uno nuovo...
